SEE'S FUDGE
Sweeten your day, one decadent bite at a time. Who’s ready for some melt-in-your-mouth fudge magic?
Why we love Sees Fudge:
See’s Fudge has so many nostalgic memories for me. Not only from enjoying this recipe throughout all of my childhood, but also as a mom. The shared activity of stirring, mixing, and waiting for the fudge to set to licking the mixing spoon.
See's Candy has been a trusted name for decades, and this fudge recipe stays true to traditional recipes that evoke nostalgia for many who grew up enjoying See’s candy products.
This fudge is made with ingredients like butter and sugar, creating a rich, indulgent taste that's both sweet and satisfying.
Ingredients
- Sugar - Sugar helps create the smooth, creamy texture that fudge is known for. When combined with butter and milk or cream, sugar contributes to the formation of small sugar crystals, which gives fudge its smooth and melt-in-your-mouth consistency.
- Evaporated Coconut Milk - Evaporated milk is more concentrated than regular milk, so it contributes a rich, creamy texture to the fudge. Evaporated milk has a slightly caramelized, richer flavor compared to fresh milk.
- Butter - The fat in butter contributes to the smooth, silky texture of fudge. It helps prevent the sugar from crystallizing too much, which can result in a grainy texture. For DAIRY FREE I love Miyokos and Melt Organics. Please note, Miyokos is made from Cashews.
- Chocolate Chips - my favorite dairy free option is Enjoy Life Chocolate Chips. They are top allergen friendly and found at most local grocers. You can also find them on Amazon.
- Vanilla - adds flavor and enhances sweet flavors
- Marshmallow Fluff - Marshmallow fluff gives fudge a slightly lighter texture compared to traditional recipes that rely on just sugar and cream.
