HOMEADE CHICK-FIL-A SAUCE
If you’re like many, you know the magic of Chick-fil-A sauce—it’s that perfect mix of creamy, tangy, smoky, and sweet. But did you know you can whip up a healthier, junk free version at home in just 5 minutes? Not only is this copycat sauce spot-on in flavor, but it’s made with simple pantry ingredients—no mystery additives or preservatives.
Why we love this Chick-fil-a sauce:
• Quick and Easy: Just toss everything in a blender and your done!
• Healthier Options: No hidden oils or ingredients. And depending on brands you choose you can also have a soy-free or even an egg-free sauce.
• Versatile: perfect for dipping crispy chicken tenders, drizzling over a bowl, a sauce for French fries or even as a salad dressing.
• Budget friendly: Save money and time by skipping takeout.
Ingredients:
- Mayo - Creamy base that gives this sauce its signature texture. We love Primal Kitchen Avocado Oil Mayo for a cleaner fat source. There is also light mayo out there if you are good with soy in your mayo.
- BBQ Sauce - Adds a smoky-sweet depth of flavor. Noble Made Foods BBQ Sauce is a great lower sugar option.
- Mustard - Brings a subtle tang that balances the sweetness. Honey mustard also works if you want an extra sweet-tangy kick. I use True Made Honey Mustard with hidden veggies and all natural.
- Honey - Natural sweetness plus a touch of thickness.
- Garlic Powder - A savory note to round out the flavor.
- Smoked Paprika - Adds a hint of smoky warmth that makes this taste authentic.
Pro Tips:
- Make ahead: This sauce tastes even better after chilling for 30 minutes as the flavors meld together.
- Adjust sweetness: Add an extra teaspoon of honey if you prefer a sweeter sauce.
- Use it as a marinade: Try it on grilled chicken for a flavor packed twist
