Why we love Poppyseed Chicken:
This chicken recipe is a favorite at our house because it's so easy and it checks all the boxes - simple, comforting and allergy friendly! With just three ingredients, it comes together fast, which is perfect for busy nights when we still want something warm and satisfying. It's gluten free and dairy free but still full of flavor, and even picky eaters love it.
Ingredients:
- Chicken - A lean protein that is easy to digest and helps support muscle growth. Chicken keeps you full longer and satisfied.
- Poppyseed Salad Dressing - A flavorful dressing that adds a touch of sweetness and tang that pairs perfectly with the chicken and onion soup mix. Brianna's dressing is made without the inflammatory oils or additives found in many store bought dressings. Briana’s has both organic and sugar free options that are gluten free and dairy free.
- Onion soup Mix - Clean Monday Meals onion soup mix is a gluten free and dairy free seasoning blend made with real ingredients. The perfect pairing to the poppyseed dressing. Adding a rich and savory flavor without the preservatives, gluten or MSG found in traditional onion soup mixes. Use code GFMACOS for a discount.
Make it a meal:
To make this a complete meal, we love serving the poppyseed chicken with roasted broccoli, creamy mashed potatoes and my fruity poppyseed salad. The dressing from the chicken is so flavorful. We drizzle the dressing over the potatoes, it ties everything together and makes the whole plate feel extra cozy and satisfying.
The sides help make everything come together. It is the perfect balance of protein, veggies and comfort. The chicken bakes while the sides come together, so everything is ready at the same time with minimal effort.
